Started the rear end mods to accommodate the wider wheel track and 16’ rims

Decided to roll a new inner wheel arch from a sheet of 18 guage to replace the original inner/outer wheel arch bowels

Going to use the existing profiles and outer wheel arch lip as much as I can – seen some real nasty’s trawling the net!!!

Looking ok so far a bit of filler work now should look good

Chopped out the bulk head for the servo unit - most people seem to go for the pedal box arrangement - but I'm grafting in a complete Scooby STi brake servo unit
Also going over the top on the cage – gone from the original rear hoop idea into a fully welded seamless cage – mainly to strengthen the tub enough to get rid of a hideous amount of chassis flex – so first mounting in – nice bit of 6mm plate
Most people are taking weight out of there cars to improve the bhp/ton ratio – I’m going about it the other way and putting additional weight over the back axle to keep the thing on the ground – typically most GT6/Spit engine transplants seem to be pumping out around 160 – 180 bhp so 300 bhp & 285 lbs/ft torque should still deliver the goods
