Been in hospital, moved house and changed jobs
Having bought in a Locost/Westfield front and rear suspension setup complete with bushes etc - found it had stange bolt sizes - 31/64' - fine if you can find an 31/64' bolt?
So decided to remake all 16 bushes using M12 - which means some nice socket cap bolts as well. Bit tedious but well worth it - could of gone for the easy option and used 1/2' UNF bolt but decided to go away from UNF bolts where posible
Some nice big discs from a 2.9 Scorpio
Loads of options on calipers and being Ford cheap as chips - the brakes on the Granada/Mondeo are pretty good with the ability to stop a car twice the weight of the GT6. Also nice to get away from that hideous vertical link and trunnion piece of crap - long term plan will be to replace the stock Seirra upright for an all alloy unit - but one step at a time - get it running first
Gone for 500 lbs front springs with a modified top mount - 300 lbs rears
Two jobs left to finish - need to extend the steering rack and convert to metric thread - note the additional width in wheel track as steering rack is approximatley central. Also sort out the brake lines.
